Make a Gift to Grackle Green
The park needs your support at all stages – from design and construction to sustaining and maintaining. You can give using the button below, and all financial donations are tax-deductible. We have several levels that donors can opt into (see below).
All gifts support Grackle Green & are tax-deductible through Urban Patchwork, our 501c3 partner with our Paypal platform. Address for sending checks to Grackle Green is at bottom of page.
Giving Levels
Champion- $1,000 and above
Businesses: Logo featured on the Grackle Green website, plus the benefits at Leader and Friend levels
Non-businesses are eligible for an engraved plaque that will be installed on a bench at Grackle Green, and items below.
Leader- $500 and above
Businesses: Recognition at the park entrance, in Cherrywood Neighborhood Association newsletter (“The Flea”), and on Facebook and Instagram. Plus the benefits at Friend level.
Friend- $10 and above
$50: Eligible to opt in to the recognition list on the Grackle Green website, and for custom Grackle Green print designed by local illustrator Caitlin B. Alexander based on her design for the park’s entrance gates. Shipping starting February 2019 after commission is complete.
$10-$50: Eligible to opt in to receiving a small magnet of the Grackle Green print designed by local illustrator Caitlin B. Alexander. Shipping starting February 2019 after commission is complete.
[paused until next drive] Engraved bricks in park – $150
[Paused until next drive, email gracklegreenatx@gmail.com if interested in getting notification when available again.] Donations of $150 or more are eligible for an engraved brick that will be installed at Grackle Green. The bricks can be engraved with up to 3 lines, 20 characters each line. Births, memorials, anniversaries, simple love messages- many options for adding to the park’s sense of community. Once installed, a brick map will be uploaded to the website.

We can always use your help maintaining the park as well! Volunteers are needed for construction and maintaining this green gem. Volunteer time at nearby parks also help support the neighborhood’s required sweat equity match within the City’s construction grant.
